After last year´s huge success of the first edition of the SALOMON Zugspitz Ultratrail, race director Wolfgang Pohl his team were able to improve small sections of the route in order to make it more attractive. Once more the Ultratrail track will have more than 100 kilometers and 5.400 meters of climb crossing the most beautiful trails in the Alps. The track will lead all participants on spectacular trail sections across the norhtwest face of the Zugspitz mountain, the Gatterl, the Scharnitzjoch, the Ferchensee and the Osternfeldern and rewards the runners with amazing sceneries as well as challenging trails. The Supertrail track with 68,8 km and almost 3.100 meters of climb is a bit shorter, but also extremly challenging for all runners starting at this race. This trail will demand everything of our runners because after the start in Leutasch-Weidach it goes straight to the Scharnitzjoch before it joins the Ultratrail track. SALOMON Zugspitz Ultratrail and Supertrail – two routes real challenges for trailrunners! All details can be found in the PDF profiles below.
